Eko Marini is a graduate of the Indonesian Literature Program Study at the Faculty of Cultural Sciences at Sebelas Maret University Surakarta, completing her undergraduate degree in 2006. She further pursued her studies in Linguistics at the postgraduate level at Sebelas Maret University, completing her master’s degree in 2010. Currently serving as a junior language expert at the Language Development and Fostering Agency, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology. In her professional capacity, Eko Marini engages in language consultancy across various ministries, institutions, or private entities. Her responsibilities include editing children’s storybooks and examination scripts for CPNS/CASN. Additionally, she serves as a language expert in the drafting of legal regulations at the Supreme Court. Eko Marini has participated in various language training programs, including Competency Enhancement for Language Experts in Forensic Linguistics by Badan Bahasa (Language Development and Fostering Agency) in 2018, Forensic Linguistics Training by the University of Indonesia in 2023, and Language Consultant and Editor Training by the Badan Bahasa.
Currently, the mother of two resides in Karawang, West Java. Despite her busy schedule, her commitment to becoming a writer remains unwavering. In 2021, she took part in the competency test for certification as a non-fiction book author and received a competent certificate from BNSP (Indonesian Professional Certification Authority). She has currently published two non-fiction books, two novels, and one children’s storybook, along with contributing to more than 60 anthology books alongside other authors. She is frequently invited to serve as a judge and speaker/resource person in the field of language and literature.
